Sometimes we get caught up in looking for resources on the Internet - so much so that we forget about the basics.
If you are a Smartboard User, don't forget about Smart Exchange. There are thousands of Smart files in almost every subject already available on this site. These are all available for downloading and use in your class AND you can legally edit them to fit the needs of your students.
Tips:
- Don't forget to narrow the search to your grade level or at least the grade level you teach plus one above and one below - yes you can check more than one box.
- Don't forget you can edit and add to the files you download. Make them appropriate for your classroom. Change them so that the lesson relates to your students. Utilize local establishments, culture, etc., to make the lessons more relative to your students.
- Don't forget to SAVE them once you have edited and made them your own.
Why recreate the wheel, when so much is already available? Also, don't be shy. Submit your great lessons to Smart Exchange for sharing.
Teachers, we are all in this together so share and help take the load off each other.
